Dark Sky plunges players into a world plunged into perpetual night after a catastrophic event blotted out the sun. As one of the few survivors, you must navigate treacherous landscapes, from abandoned cities to frozen wastelands, all while managing your character’s hunger, thirst, and sanity. The game’s dynamic weather system and day-night cycle—or lack thereof—create a constant sense of urgency.

Gameplay focuses on exploration, crafting, and base building. Players gather materials to construct fortified shelters, craft weapons and tools, and establish trade routes with other survivors. Combat is tactical, requiring stealth and careful resource management. The game also features a morality system that affects how NPCs interact with you, adding depth to the narrative.
